Youth Musical: Ranked
Description
Buy your grades. Buy your future. But what happens when the rest of the world finds out? Edgy, thrilling, and very relevant, Ranked brings us into the world of high stakes academic and social environments where your worth is based on your educational achievements. Featuring a hard driving rock and pop score, Ranked is a contemporary musical theatre show for our generation in the style of Mean Girls and Heathers.
Lily is new to school and is learning about the cutthroat culture from her sister Alexis who is plagued by doubts about her place at the school. Alexis is dating the hottest boy in the school, Ryan, and everything comes easy to him. The real problem is Ryan's twin sister Sydney and her clique of queen bees and fans. Meanwhile, resident rebel Jordan and her brother John struggle against expectations while fighting against the rank status quo.
When an impossible lie is discovered that upends everyone’s life, the fate of these students' futures hangs in the balance. Debuting just weeks after the College Admission Scandal took the nation by storm, Ranked asks—What are you worth? Who decides? And what do you do when it all comes crashing down?
Join us as we embark on this rock musical adventure for the generation that is defined by achievement, status, and social media…and find your place in Ranked.
Ranked features some of St. Louis’ most talented triple threat teens, ages 12–18.
